DWAYNE WADE OUT THREE WEEKS WITH A PULLED HAMSTRING!
Three minutes into the "Big 3's" highly anticipated preseason, franchise cornerstone Dwayne Wade suffered an injury. The injury is being reported as a strained right hamstring. Heat head coach Eric Spoelstra said, “It’s a slight tweak of his hamstring. We’ll reevaluate it in a week...It was really an inconsequential play. Hopefully it’s not too serious...We’ll still move forward with the guys we have.”
LeBron James mentioned that Wade had been making comments about his hamstring over the last few days and noted it had been feeling tight. As a result, Wade said he knew immediately it was a pulled hamstring when the injury occurred.
As for the remaining pair of superstars, they did not disappoint, combining for 38 points - James scored 20 while Bosh score 18 in 26 minutes. They put on a show for the 19,600 fans in attendance, as the Heat defeated the Detroit Pistons 105-89.
After the game, King James said, “I was just anxious to get back on the court, the reception from the fans was awesome we passed the test.” The rest of the world will just have to sit back and wait for the "Big 3's" little man to come back to see the trio in action.
