"A Harlem woman and her boyfriend are suing the NYPD for $24 million, claiming that officers beat her with billy clubs, broke her nose and arrested the pair after she tried to film cops busting a man.
Hope Gonzalez, 30, says she and her boyfriend, Pedro Gomez, 37, were shopping Oct. 14, 2009, when they saw a young man being "abused" by several police officers on Riverside Drive at West 158th Street.
