R.I.P TO CAP'N CRUNCH.....A SAD DAY IN AMERICA

A SAD DAY FOR CEREAL LOVERS....

COURTESY OF VLADTV.COM- Quaker has announced that they will no long "actively" market Cap'n Crunch. The cereal has been accused of high sugar content for a while and thanks to the White House and health activists, Quaker will no longer market the cereal "directly to children."

According to health experts, the cereal contains about 12 grams of sugar per serving. Cap'n Crunch was the Number 1 breakfast cereal but in 2010 the sales started to plummet. This is the result of pressure and studies such as the one by Rudd Center Research:

"Children cereals contain 85 percent more sugar, 65 percent less fiber and 60 percent more sodium when compared with adult cereals."
