3 DEAD AND 4 INJURED AS A HOUSE FIRE ERUPTS IN THE BRONX!

Three people are dead and four others are injured after a "suspicious" early morning two-alarm house fire ripped through a house in the Bronx on Monday.

Fire officials say the blaze began at 3:35 a.m. on the second floor of a two-story house, located on Prospect Avenue near East 185th Street.

The fast-moving fire began on the second floor and "heavy fire conditions" advanced to the third floor, according to Assistant Deputy Fire Chief James Leonard. The fire was brought under control about an hour later.

The bodies of the three victims were found on the third floor, and fire officials believe they were trapped there.

The identities of the three vicitms were not immediately released but neighbors told PIX 11 News the victims are a man, woman and 12-year-old boy.

Witnesses also said the blowing flames were blocking the fire escape.

Four other people suffered minor injuries. No firefighters were hurt.

Reports say the fire is suspicious but the exact cause is under investigation.
