For 30 seconds of ad time advertisers are paying a whopping $1 million per ad during Oprah's send-off episode. Certain slots could even go for a higher amount given their air time, which is more than the asking price for prime-time finales like Lost and The X-Files who demanded less than $1 million. The most expensive show finale was Friends which commanded a whopping $2 million ad space.
