Teacher Accused of Throwing Shoe at Student

"A DeKalb County school teacher is in hot water Tuesday night after allegedly throwing a shoe at a student. Now the boy's mother is considering legal action against the district. Brenda Williams says her son was injured when a shoe thrown by a teacher hit him in the forehead. Williams said the teacher claims it was an accident, but she said that's not the point. "I assume she took the shoe off and actually threw the shoe at him," said parent Brenda Williams.

Williams claims one of her son's teachers at Lithonia Middle School deliberately threw her shoe at the sixth grader. Williams said she took pictures showing a knot on her son's forehead. After confronting the teacher, Williams said the teacher said it was an accident.

"I asked her well, she said the shoe slipped from her hand. Well I don't understand if it slipped from your hand how he has a knot on his head," said Williams." Read More - Via Fox
