TEEN HIT BY EXPRESS TRAIN IN NEW YORK!!!




A high school student is fighting for his life Friday after police say he was struck by a subway train during the morning rush hour commute.

According to authorities, the incident happened just before 8 a.m. at the Union Square subway station along the 4 and 5 line.

Investigators believe the teen was rushing to catch the train when he tripped and fell in front of the southbound Express train. The 18-year-old, who was not immediately identified, was reportedly struck in the head.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. HIs condition remains unknown.

Splattered blood could be seen on the subway platform, unnerving many commuters during the height of morning rush hour.

The frightening incident disrupted service for about an hour and a half with many trains bypassing the Union Square station.
