THE BRONX, N.Y.(PIX11)—Police are on the hunt for suspects in the deadly stabbing of 17-year-old boy early Saturday at a party in the Bronx -- over $10.
The victim has been identified as Damien Martinez.
Detectives say police got a 911 call around 1:21 a.m. Officers arrived at 1908 Bathgate Avenue in Tremont to find Martinez, stabbed in the chest.
Martinez's sister, Starleena Vargas, told cops her brother was attacked because he wanted his $10 cover charge refunded, after being kicked out of the party. She said that's when his attackers knocked him down, hit him over the head and stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
Martinez's family prays that someone will come forward; but many say that's not likely to happened since it's believed that the suspects are gang-bangers.
