WINNING A GRAMMY JUST GOT 30 TIMES HARDER!

VLADTV.COM- Getting a Grammy just became a little bit harder!

The Recording Academy made a decision to cut the number of awards from 109 to 78, making it the first revamp in the history of the ceremony. The restructuring began in 2009 when Jimmy Jam became the board director and plans were under way to make serious changes. Details have not been revealed on which categories will be booted, but the number of fields recognized will not change. However the fields have been combined to fit a smaller number of categories, like Gospel field being renamed the Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music field and Dance being renamed the Dance/Electronica field.
What do you think of the new restructuring?
