Party Like a Rockstar: Mavericks' DeShawn Stevenson Arrested for Public Intoxication

"So maybe there was a little too much celebration for at least one of the Mavericks.

Irving police arrested Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson Tuesday night for public intoxication when they say they found him wandering disoriented in an apartment complex.

Officers got the call about an intoxicated person at the Grand Venetian apartments at 6201 Love Drive about 10:30 p.m.

When police showed up, they spoke with Stevenson, who apparently did not know where he was.
Police say he failed a field sobriety test, and based on those results and Stevenson's statements, he was arrested for public intoxication.

Stevenson was taken to the Irving City Jail and freed on bond at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning."
