Father Finds Son and Another Man Shot to Death in a Brooklyn Basement

Two men were found bound, gagged and shot to death in the basement of a home in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn on Wednesday, the police and relatives said.

The bodies were discovered by the father of one of the victims, who walked by the home at 3 p.m., saw the door wide open and made his way to the basement, where he came upon the scene. The home had been ransacked, and in the basement he found his son, Jason Bostic, 30 — recently married with three children and a fourth on the way — and a friend, bound in duct tape and apparently executed at point-blank range. Both had been shot in the head, the police said.

“I saw my son tied, his hands behind his back and gagged,” the father, Terry Buggs, 54, said. “The house is ransacked. I assumed it was a burglary. He just got caught up in it.”
