"The woman who is believed to have been behind the wheel of a car driven into a crowd of people outside McDonald's in Cleveland, injuring 3, has surrendered to authorities.
According to Cleveland Police Sgt. Sammy Morris, Stacey Matthews, 22, of Cleveland, turned herself into Cuyahoga County sheriff's deputies at 11am on Thursday. She is now in city jail awaiting charges.
Natasha Grayer, 22, of Cleveland, was a passenger in the vehicle. She was previously arrested and charged with felonious assault.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the McDonald's on St. Clair Ave. and East 105th St. on McDonald's National Hiring Day.
Turan Strange, 59, the owner and operator of the McDonald's, is in fair condition at MetroHealth Medical Center. The restaurant's manager, Marilyn O'Stricker, was treated and released, as well as a 17-year-old who was involved in the incident.
